No I didn't but yes I notice its seems to working as well as far as connecting but I still cannot download. The transfer selected is greyed out.

I assume you selected some files/folders in the list, please check to see what control has focus.
There has been some problems with the transfer selected button but I was under the impression that this issue was resolved quite some time ago, I will do some research into this when I have more time.
What if you right-click on your selection can you then select transfer from the popup menu?
Or what if you try dragging from one side to the other?
