Turning SSL on permanently?

Is there a way, either by editing the INI or via the command-line, to turn on SSL options as default for any site the user connects to? Every time you want to use SSL for a site, you have to go and check the options you want, and if you're using it constantly and for many different sites it can get painful.

Any suggestions?

Unfortunately there is no such option at this time.
