Flashfxp + ps3 help

Hi All,

I have a slim ps3 which has blackbox ftp installed.
Im using flashfxp but when i load blackbox on the ps3 i can see the ip address which is 10.1.1.2.
I load flashfxp and enter the settings but it just times out the connection and i get connection failed (Connection timed out).
Im hoping someone can help explain the exact settings i should use on the ps3 and within flashfxp itself?
With port 21 do i have to manually allow it or open it?
I have Norton 360 and windows 7 64bit.
My network cable goes directly from my lan gigabit network card to the back of the ps3.

from your computer can you ping ip address of your ftp server?

Mxxcon i entered "ping 10.1.1.2" and it said pinging 10.1.1.2 32 bytes of data.
The other thing is i can not transfer higher then 20mb/s can this be changed to make it quicker?
Also when i enter my password in the forums and tick remember me i then close the browser but when i reopen it i have to reenter my details again.

Whenever at the time of login in into the forum while typing your username and password and after clicking sign in a pop up will appear asking you if you want to remember your password then click yes,this is only applicable in Mozilla Firefox web browser
