Default FTP with xbox some file xfer some don't?

I can xfer some music/etc. files to my xbox but some others just won't xfer. What could be wrong?

FlashFXP- v3 unreg
OS- XP home
NAT/router- no
firewall- yes XP s2p
Anitvirus- yes Norton Version- Came with 04 pc

[R] Transfer Failed!

Other error mess
Entering passive mode (192,168,2,59,8,38)
opening data connection IP 192.168.2.59 port 2086

My Xbox IP address is 192.168.2.59 gate 192.168.2.1

you have to long filenames, try to shorten em and transfer again.

you should try a client especially made for xbox. FlashFXP is not recommended (you'll get slow speed) (Sorry for the bad publicity).
And I don't think xbox support spaces in filenames

Actually, FlashFXP is by far one of the BEST clients for working with XBox, and most people get full 100mbit speeds when using it. If not, you either have your Xbox or FlashFXP incorrectly configured.

Not sure where you got your information, or what the purpose of that post was? A simple search on this forum would show MANY people successfuly using FlashFXP with their XBox..

Well check this out I can transfer say Track 1 (off a cd in my mp3 files) from my pc to xbox but when I go to transfer track 2 or 4,5 I get the error message. So I don't think it a rename issue. track 2,4,5 have the same file name (just the track title)

seem to relate to problem with filename and/or Avalaunch software

With flashfxp and xbox I transferred files up to 11Mbytes
