Lightbulb OpenSSL 0.9.7e DLL's

I've compiled the new OpenSSL 0.9.7e release. Changelog isn't very spectacular. Only a few bugs fixed which, as far as I can tell, wont affect FlashFXP. But I'm sure there are people like me that want the latest versions of everything.

Enjoy.

Note: These dll's work with FFXP 2.2+

Default Moderator approval?

If any moderator has problems with me uploading OpenSSL DLL's let me know and I'll stop. But it would be nice to see this attachment approved by a moderator instead of just letting this post sit here.

we don't have a problem with this.
please don't take it as an offence, i'm in no way accusing you or implying anything, but it's hard for us to verify authenticity of your compile.
bigstar mentioned he'll release his own compiles any day now...i think he'll be gone whole weekend but on monday i'll remind him.

if bigstar or linkster think otherwise, they'll approve your attachment

I've compiled these dll's with the current MinGW and latest WinAPI. All the rest is standard. I've made no changes to the code.

There are general binaries out there, available everywhere on the net, also from trusted locations. There's no need to compile them, they will work with FlashFXP right away.

Question

Any news about this?? Would be nice to be able to use the SSL files released by you people instead of dealing with hassles of using files compiled by "someone" on the net.

You know as much as I do. They removed my attachment and I still haven't seen any new DLL's. Guess you need to compile it yourself then.

Belive me I know it's hard to keep up with all updates when one are using other peoples technology. But since I am a paying customer of FlashFXP I'd like to see that I get the latest security for my software.

I know allot of people out there are using pirated and cracked versions of FlashFXP and that sucks big time and I don't care if they are using some old crap in their pirated stuff and also I don't care if they break some of the security technologies in FlashFXP when they crack the software.

After trying to make a good compile myself I also know it's not the easyest thing in the world to compile stuff so I will wait but I just wanted to let you guys know I find it really important to have the latest security in my software. I hate having weak pieces in my system.

I hope there will be a compile by you soon.

For heavens sake. This is the full open ssl package..
Would it be that impossible to compile just the 2 files needed for flashfxp?

I mean they exist all over the internet on about every forum that even have remotely the smallest thread about flashfxp..

I mean I got the 2 needed files allmost a month agoo from the net. But it would be nice to have them from flashfxp so that I know they are 100% safe to use with flashfxp..

And as far as I can see there are still no official download of the 0.9.7e version from flashfxp..
