550 overwrite permission denied ?

Hi support,

this just happen yesterday....
i didnt touched anything...
i always do my editing online (open page ,edit ..close upload and finished...
I never touched even the default settings after i bought flashFXP but now when i try to upload the file i get the 550 error...no permission to overwrite.

I do the maintenance for a few websites and one of them is hosted by my host,so situation is exactly the same and tried to edit a useless file and that worked.

So im speechless now...
Anybody know what happend ?

"550 overwrite permission denied" is coming from the server. it has nothing to do with flashfxp.
you need to contact that server's administrator and check that your permisions are correct.

hello,

yes i figured that out by now....
tried a few other ftp progs to see if it was the same and it was.
they are gonna look at it tomorrow.
they think it related to a automated update of cpanel or whatever...
yeah not being able to edit isnt funny...
