Default Configuring Router for flashfxp

Hi guys, i'm new on this forum. I recently bought a router and now i cannot connect to any ftp's anymore. Normal, i think, so i tried to configure router for fxp. But it seems to be a problem, i always get this error when trying to connect :

[R] 150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls.
[R] 426 Data connection closed, transfer aborted.

Problem is that not one of the ftp's have the usual port, port 21, but all a different one. Does anyone know how to allow acces to these ports? If its any help, i have a sitecom wireless broadband router WL-025. I heard somewhere that flashing the router can sometimes be a problem, maybe some of you guys had it before?

Anyway, when i was trying to connect with cuteftp, some ftp(certainly not all of them) worked. Is there any explaination for this?

Thanx in advance guys,

greets, swa

Good one, no i tried this before, doesn't work. It has something to do with router. When i pull the router out and use a direct connection(with cable to modem) everything goes fine.

yes, it has something to do with router.
show us log when you enable PASV mode.

PASV mode should ALWAYS work. if it doesn't, the server is misconfigured and needs to be fixed.

if you want to use PORT mode, you need to configure your router to allow a range of incoming data connection ports and then configure flashfxp to use those ports.
