Default Wrong version?

Just installed it.
When starting it reports version as "e".

Microsoft wsock32.dll, ver2.2, 32bit of Apr 22 1999, at 20:29:32. -- OpenSSL 0.9.7e 25 Oct 2004

You have to unpack those file to:
\FlashFXP\SSL and TLS files\

Please don't post things which aren't true. You have to unpack these files to the installation directory of FlashFXP (in most cases this would be "C:\Program Files\FlashFXP") ans just overwrite the old SSL DLL's.

Hetfield: You were right.

Microsoft wsock32.dll, ver2.2, 32bit of Apr 22 1999, at 20:29:32. -- OpenSSL 0.9.7f 22 Mar 2005

My bad, sorry.
I have two FFXP dirs and had copied the ssl-files to the one I am not using.

Makc666: That was one of the dummest things I've seen on this forum.

Hetfield
I was wrong.
But I realy have
\FlashFXP\SSL and TLS files\
folder.
I thinks it is there from version 2.*
So I just got used to put those files into
SSL and TLS files
folder in the past versions.

That was one of the dummest things I've seen on this forum,
when a man can't unpack files to the right folder and is macking a panic on the forums.
And after some one tried to help him with a good motivation, say to him such things.
Shame on you!

Default My apologies

Sincerely.

I've been using FFXP for many years and never seen nor needed those dirs you mentioned and, as Hetfield, I assumed you were giving crap info.

The reason for my mistake is because I separate the beta versions from the stable versions, but mostly use the beta versions. I simply unpacked the dlls to the default \FlashFXP dir but started the program from my \FFXP dir. Looking in the \FlashFXP dir I could see the files were the right date, but Properties of the dlls didn't show the version, so I figured someone packed the wrong files.

It took me a while to realise I'd put them in the wrong dir (after checking the properties of my shortcut) and by that time I was pretty irritated.

Therefore my unfair comment on your attempt to help.

I'm sorry.

0.9.7g is a bugfix release. Not sure if those bugs affect FFXP, but can't hurt to use the new OpenSSL.
