Default v3.2 - cant seem to update the chmod

Hi all,

I noticed that after I chmod my files to value, say 777, when I navigate away and come back, the file values is still at the orignal values. I tried this several times but it just does not seem to be able to change the value permanently.

Anyone has this problem?

thanks
anthony

flush cache to make sure that's not an issue, if cache is off and it still doesn't work, it could be ftp server changing permissions back

Thanks...I have flushed the cache and also make sure that the 'cache directories' in the Option tab is not checked. But its still the same....the chmod value keep reverting back to the old one.

You mentioned might be the server...can anything be done on this...?

thanks
anthony

you'll need to contact that server's administrator and find out what's going on..if it's intended behavior or some misconfiguration.
