My fault, I forgot what was previously said in this thread. After re-reading the thread again I understand.

So basically the mouse driver has problems simulating a double click on items that are marked bold.
No, not quite, but getting closer

When I bold a file with the spacebar, the mouse driver has problems with the double-click on *ANY* file in the remote window after being focused elsewhere...

1) bold a file with the spacebar (in the local or remote pane, doesn't matter)
2) make the local pane active
3) open *ANY* file/folder in the remote browser (bolded or not) using the double-click button on the mouse (Logitech mouse, I guess) -- BUT, *without* first clicking an empty area in the remote pane to make it active

Here's a thought, What if you change your list font to a bold style, so that normal items are shown in bold, does the problem still occur?
How did the mouse driver double-click react to using a bold font?

Setting all of the text to bold only solves it the first time.

If I set the text to a normal (unbolded) style, highlight a file with the spacebar, and change the font to bold in the view settings, this behaviour still occurs.
