Default 'Access violation at address' when editing a file in an external program

'Access violation at address' when editing a file in an external program.

As long as I Edit a file that opens in an external program, then I get the following error
Code:
[13:17:51] An internal error has occurred.
[13:17:51] Access violation at address 0043E328 in module 'flashfxp.exe'. Write of address 00000140
Ideas? I now have to use the internal editor for now

Thank you for your bug report.

Are you using v3.0 RC3 build 1001?

Did this problem occur with build 1000? It's quite odd that this error showed up in 1001. The changes that were made had no impact on the file viewing/editing.

Anyone else having this problem?
I am unable to reproduce the problem on my machine.

I've had this problem since, I believe, since the last v2 if I'm not mistaken.

When you upgraded to v3.0 did you install FlashFXP into a new folder or did you install over v2.x.. If you installed over v2.x perhaps the file associations settings inside of FlashFXP are messed up.

Options > File Associations

If i associate an extension (*.txt) with the internal editor (both view and edit) and i doubleclick "my.txt" file still opens with the external program and not with the editor!

I cant reproduce "Blak n Wite"'s problem too

double click usually means execute, not edit...right click/edit and tell me what it opens in.

Edit gives a prompt to upload the file after you're done editing
