As the SP2 is still RC status, i generally think this bug is not related to FlashFXP, even if FlashFXP is also RC-Status if you use version 3.x. You should post your used version number and OS etc., too.

I still don't understand why someone would like to install a beta service pack (unless you're a Microsoft beta tester, although i don't think so... ) it's like playing with fire with something that could easily screw your hard disk.

Anyway wait until Microsoft releases the final version of the Service Pack 2 and check again if the problems persists.

Please be more specific. I'll be testing with sp2 rc2 over the next few days. RC1 was tested extensively, and had no issues though.

I've just installed xp sp2, and started testing with it. Initial tests show no issues. Does anyone else want to give xp sp2 a go and let me know your results?

I'm also a xp sp2 betatester and just installed rc2 yesterday. no issues here in combination with flashfxp. Maybe the integrated firewall is causing problems? Because in SP2 that's enabled by default.
