flexible sort: separately directories and files

directories sort by name ascending, and files sort by modified date descending.

no, it's quite handy really. in hain's example, for instance, you can browse directories easily and once in that directory you can see the last file modified without having to switch the setting back and forth. it may not seem like a lot of work to switch, but having to do this often gets under your skin quickly. =P
