FlashFXP 4.1 BETA build 1580
FlashFXP 4.1 Build 1580 (beta)
- Fixed files not transferring during upload in a scheduled transfer, this was a compatibility issue with older versions of windows. Windows 7 users were not effected.
- Fixed toolbar rendering on older versions of windows or when themes were disabled.
- Fixed issue with the per-site connection retry count of 0 when using the task scheduler or command line file transfers FlashFXP would never automatically close.
Download it via LiveUpdate

In the last couple of builds I've seen the following happening:
- I edit a file (active edit)
- I save it, it automatically uploads - all fine there
- The bottom bar still shows sending: [file] (e.g. index.html), even though it has uploaded the edit perfectly
Is this a bug?
Running windows XP, latest build (1580). Need more info, please ask
Added a screenshot to illustrate:

My problem with last betas is also almost gone. Almost :P
Attachments:
Classic theme, no modern style
Below button I think there should be 1 pixel more empty space, otherwise OK
Tango theme, no modern style
Same as with previous on, below button there should be 1 pixel more empty space, otherwise OK
Tango theme, modern style
Buttons are too high, same with classic theme when modern style is checked. With previous betas all looked like this, no matter modern or no, no matter what theme in FXP ( http://www.flashfxp.com/forum/78569-post3.html).

Technically the top toolbar buttons are aligned and centered.
It looks like the navigation toolbar has a 4 pixel edge around the dropdown box which makes the buttons appear this way. I'm not entirely sure how this came to be, there should only be a 1 pixel space between them, I will adjust this for the next release.
Also it appears that there is a drawing issue for the down arrow rendered on the main toolbar with the modern style, I will take a look at this as well. I suspect it has to do with using modern when themes aren't available, the drawing for this is done via themes.
Thank you for your input.

Do you happen to know what ftp server software is being used?
What type of transfer was this, upload, download, or site to site?

Hi.
Besides the issue with the listing sometimes being empty as I reported in build 1579, I have also just found out that When I use CTRL-V to view a file, or if I try to download small files (below 1 kB), the viever that open is just empty, or the file on the disk is 0 byte.
I have no clue when this started, but now I have gone back to 4.0 build 1548 and it all works again.
I have no clue at exactly which build it all went haywire, but the way 1579 and 1580 is working for me, is kinda a no go.

Edit: I just went to build 1574, and the files I had issues with in 1579+1580 all works fine in 1574.
I can view and download the same files without problems.

This leads me to believe that is an issue with MODE Z, However I am not able to reproduce any issues with MODE Z on any of my test servers.
With build 1580 I don't suppose you tested disabling MODE Z to see if the problem went away?
Build 1574 and below has some serious issues with MODE Z that will corrupt the internal memory of the program. Its possible that perhaps there's a condition that I missed thats resulting in the problems you experience.
What FTP server software is being used for the server?
