Exclamation Running FlashFXP from CD, possible?

Sorry for posting this here, I know it's not actually a bug so feel free to move the topic to a more suitable place.

I would like to know if it is possible to run FlashFXP - as registered user - from a CD (with WinPE)?
With my current registration info is not possible since FlashFXP.key is created in the same dir (which is read-only on CD). Copying the current keyfile on CD does not work either because the win partition must be available (I guess the key is disk dependent). So if I reformat the drive and then use WinPE (for a latter WinXP install) I am not able to use my registered copy of FlashFXP.

Could this change be a solution?
FlashFXP v2.2 Build 927 BETA - 10/08/2003
2. Added support for a new type of registration key format.

If so please let me know and I'll ask bigstar the new key format. Thank you!

thread moved to general since it's not really beta related
if you read some of the tutorials on WinPE they show how to create ramdrive and run applications from there. that way you'll have writable partition from which to run FlashFXP.
each flashfxp.key is computer/os dependent, meaning it can't be used on a different machine.
however you can easily register FlashFXP once you install new OS.

Sorry, I'm afraid it's not what you thought.

It's just a new encoding (base64) for sending registration keys via email to prevent corruption.

The reason this fails is because the flashfxp.key is machine specific.

OK, thanks for your replies. I'll try using a ramdrive then.
