Question Queued Files Not Coming Through Correctly

FlashFXP ver 2.1, Registered. WinXP Pro SP1.
Behind Linksys Wireless Modem/Gateway.
Residential Gateway Hardware Version: 1.2b
Firmware Version: 2.9.4d

Here's the deal. I can queue up files for download, start the transfer and everthing is good. Once the first file completes I go from 300k per sec to about 10-25k per sec when the next queued file starts. I can abort transfer and restart, and I'm back up to 300k. Until the next file in queue starts and its back to 10-20k again. I however can go to a commercial site i.e., adobe, intel, and queue up some of their files and everything is good. Some other personal friend ftp's works also.

Below is what's going on with this ftp. Hopefully someone can help.

what you neglected to mention is this is not regular download, but rather site-to-site tranfer.
during FXP(site-to-site), FlashFXP tell one site to connect to another and then await untill both sites say file transfer is ready.
FlashFXP has no control over how fast the transfer is going.
you'll have to figure out which site is slowing down after 1st file and then inform site's admin to correct that problem..
or it's possible that those 2 sites just don't like each other
