Default Transfers 'freezing' between files during site to site transfers

My session seems to hang and idle until disconnected when doing site to site transfers. It happens in between files in the queue, not during the transfer.

Here is a log dump of what goes on before the problem:
Quote:
[15:07:12] TYPE I
[15:07:12] PASV
[15:07:12] 227 Entering Passive Mode (xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx)
[15:07:12] PORT xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx,xxx
[15:07:12] STOR TESTFILE
[15:07:13] 150 Opening BINARY data connection for TESTFILE
[15:07:13] RETR TESTFILE
[15:07:13] 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for TESTFILE (10000000 bytes).
[15:11:35] 226 Transfer finished successfully. Data connection closed.
It hangs here. It seems like the site that is sending the data (green) never gets the message that blue is done with the file.

Not sure what could be the cause, currently using 1.4.2.831 on Win2k, going through SMC barricade dsl router. Had the same problems on previous versions too, finally decided to post something about it

Oh, and before anybody asks, this isn't a cracked version either. If necessary, I'll email support@flashfxp.com with my problem and with my valid registration info.

Just tried 833 beta, same problem. I've had this same problem with different servers (mostly glftpd and raidenftpd), and I'm currently testing it using my own server as the destination.

Maybe its a router problem and I should be posting this in another section??? Heh, if so, if a mod or an admin would be kind enough to move this to general...

I don't know what is causing the problem, but the problem is that the green ftp server never sent transfer complete, both sites must send transfer complete.

Hmmm... think it could just be a lost packet? But it happens EVERY time? Is it something to do passive transfers? I mainly use FlashFXP for site to site transfers from GLFTPD to GLFTPD. Nobody else I know experiences it that also do site to site transfers from these sites...

Can you move this to general since its probably a router issue with PASV transfers and ftp control packet acknowledgement? Thanks.

Does it work with that green site in ftp-only mode? Does it work with other clients? As bigstar pointed out, if a site doesn't send transfer completes, there will be problems.

Works fine when in ftp mode only. Haven't tried any other clients for FXPing. Didn't know they existed My friends use this site with others for FXPing without any problems, thats why I'm thinking its a problem with my router (SMC BARRICADE) and passive FTP mode.

(Sorry for the late reply, been bz.)
