Custom commands and edit window

Is there any way to define a custom command that acts like when you check the "display result in an edit window" checkbox on the raw command dialog ?

If there is no way, i think it would really be a nice little improvement.

you tried putting &window in the line before your custom command?

I tried some month ago, i just tried again now, and it doesn't work.

Maybe i'm not using it correctly...

(and since there is no doc about custom commands... )


EDIT

WHOPS, it works. But you need to put &window on one line, then the command on the next one. if you put &window just before the command, it sends &window to the server
