Default Transfer multiple files as one?

Well I suggested that when multiple small files needed to be tranfered that these files in qeue would be transferred all in one go...

ok just a sketchy idea but it could work...

However I used the suugestion link @inicom's website this being just over 24 hours ago... Let's see how long it takes for a reply...

it's not that "flashfxp" can't offer, but rather standard ftp protocol does not offer it.
ftp protocol isn't designed to execute applications on the server.
that's what telnet/ssh shells are for.

Actually, begging your pardon and apologising for my original post, I would like to say that FlashFXP does support multi file transfer in one go Unless Im very much mistaken in my findings)... How many files this is restricted to and size(if at all) I dont know but in the same way that in Explorer a file is chosen (selected) and then holding shift down and selecting the last file that you wish to transfer the files inbetween are automatically selected and then able to transfer them.....

The other way is by holding down Ctrl and selecting file after file or alternate files....

FlashFXP will then Transfer the selected files in one single transfer without opening and closing multiple connections to the target....

However if any of those selected files must not be folders containing other files and so on.... In this case all the single files will be transfered in one tranfer and the remaining folders and files and so on will be transfered in several open/close transfers...

If there is a way of when selecting a folder containing multiple files or other folders and more files in a way that they would all be automatically selected well bobs your uncle and there you have it a single transfer (maximizing transfer speed)....

I bet this can be achieved in some way or is this a farfetched idea not worth the trouble?

**addition

The above holds true with multiple small files but not with a 1.10GB file and a 750MB file...

first put all the files you want to transfer in a queue and once you are done, hit transfer.
