Lightbulb Preview of pictures in remote view

Dear Developers,
I'd like to see as new feature a different "point of view" for remote files: the thumbnail view for faster image browsing.

What do you think about? I found this great feature in some competitors but of course FlashFXP is the number one

in order to generate thumbnails of images, you need to have actual images from which to generate thumbnails, that means flashfxp will ahve to download each and every single image in a current directory

what other "competitors" have such feature?

that's an intersting idea to use thumbs.db
i wonder if/how Vista will store thumbnails...thumbs.db would be a dead-end solution tho.

To the best of my knowledge, the thumbs.db is only created/added to when an image is actually viewed on the system as a thumbnail. I don't believe it would ever be very accurate unless the content rarely changed and was often previewed by the owner as thumbnails.
