Default Site-specific skiplists

Suggestion: Add site-specific skip lists.

Possible implementation: Add a skip list tab to site manager where one can define file masks for certain files or directories he wants to skip when uploading or downloading from a specific site. It should be possible to define when to apply a certain filter: "skip when downloading from site" / "skip when uploading to site".

I'd be incredibly happy to see that feature in FlashFXP one day.

Have you taken a look at selective transfer? It allows you to setup several different skiplists and switch between them.

Currently you can't assign a selective transfer list to a specific site but I think this is something we'll be adding in the future.

As long as the global skiplist is not removed sounds good to me.

Perhaps set up similar to the file exists rules, where you have a default skiplist (the global one that we have now) which sites will use by default unless you set it not to, or set up a site specific skiplist for that site.

I tried this for the first time today and it worked just fine. I just added *.nfo as an Exclude rule to test.

But, as you say, making the Skip List site-specific would be a better idea. That would rule out the possible error of choosing the wrong Selective Transfer profile and ending up with missing or superfluous files.

The Selective Transfer function is also much stronger in enforcing its rules than the Skip List. Which made it impossible for me to manually upload a single .nfo that I wanted. For that I had to revert to my default profile. With the Skip List function one could use the "When to skip" function and allow manual uploads when needed.

Also, I wonder if there would be any point in adding a report stating how many files that have been excluded, just like the Skip List function has? Perhaps that would be of use to someone.
