Question Max 168 bits encryption

According to the documentation the server shoul support encryption from 0-N bits.
Although I can't connect to my server if I set the encryption higher than 168 bits. What can be wrong?
Is it my FTP-client?? I'm Using FlashFXP 2.1 build 924.
Or is it something else??

Default

1. 168bits is more than plenty enough. (I'd consider even 96bits sufficient for data transfers)
2. Limit is set by SSPI (Security Support Provider Interface), and afak it currently is 168bits.
