Default How To Search For Files On A Remote Server

Hi there

I'm a very very new user to FlashFXP and would like to know if it is possible to search for specific files on a remote server?

I know somewhere when logged in you can use one of the options in the title bar to search, it seems to go through the action but produces no results.

If anyone can help I would be appreciative.

"Tools" menu, "Find Files on FTP Server".
if you search using this feature, and it produces no results that means file you are searching for isn't there.

if you are sure otherwise, please provide more details so we can troubleshoot it.

Thanks for your quick reply.

I'm 99.9% sure the files are located on the remote servers but I could be wrong. I have previously tried your suggestion, even using wildcards ending in zip/rar/avi etc

Finally to provide all the details I see in your signature is there an option within FlashFXP that provides this information or do I need to note everything down myself.

BTW The only other FTP program which I have used has been WSFTP Le (it's their free version).
