Unknown file retrieval problem when file has no file name

Not sure if this a problem with the FTP site im using, or an issue with FlashFXP.

[17:44:44] [R] LIST -al
[17:44:44] [R] 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for directory listing.
[17:44:44] [R] 226 Transfer complete.
[17:44:44] [R] List Complete: 5 KB in 0.29 seconds (5.3 KB/s)
[17:44:44] [R] SIZE .adf
[17:44:44] [R] 550 .adf: not a plain file.
[17:44:44] [R] PASV
[17:44:44] [R] 227 Entering Passive Mode (37,123,138,151,19,34)
[17:44:44] [R] Opening data connection IP: 37.123.138.151 PORT: 4898
[17:44:44] [R] RETR .adf
[17:44:44] [R] 550 .adf: No such file or directory.
[17:44:44] [R] Transfer Failed: .adf

The FTP I am connecting lists a file with no filename, just called ".adf".
However, it appears I have problems trying to retrieve this file ... not sure if its the FTP side that is the issue as it looks like FlashFXP uses the standered RETR to retrieve the file.

Dont suppose you have ever come across anything similar?

Kind Regards

Re: Unknown file retrieval problem when file has no file name

Managed to have a play around with this.

Used CMD.exe with ftp to connect to the FTP in question.

-rwxrwxrwx 1 ********* ********* 901120 Feb 25 17:30 .adf

Might not be clear, but the filename is named " .adf"
So set transfer to Binary, and transferred the file :

ftp> get " .adf"
200 PORT command successful.
150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for .adf (901120 bytes).
226 Transfer complete.
ftp: 901120 bytes received in 17.59Seconds 51.24Kbytes/sec.

The file downloaded and was created in windows with no problem, named exactly the same as the FTP " .adf".

Cheers
