Move to subdirectory is not possible

Operating System: Windows XP Service Pack 3
FlashFXP version: 4.2.6 (build 1879)
Installation type: Portable

login to a site (my local LAN site)
try to move a directory "FULLofFILES" from
/DIRECTORY/
to
/DIRECTORY/_v/

a pop comes up
"CONFIRM FILE REPLACE"
& says that that file "FULLofFILES" is existing in /DIRECTORY/_v/
but it is not

does not happen with FlashFXP42_1784

[19:51:07] [L] List Complete: 3 KB in 0.20 second (3.5 KB/s)
[19:51:12] [L] RNFR FULLofFILES
[19:51:12] [L] 350 Requested file action pending further information.
[19:51:12] [L] RNTO /APPS/_v/FULLofFILES
[19:51:12] [L] 250 Requested file action ok , completed.

Re: Move to subdirectory is not possible

We recently added a prompt to confirm move operations, to prevent the user from accidentally replacing an existing file/folder that may already exist, as some FTP servers will simply overwrite the existing file/folder, while others will report an error.

Now, Is the move operation not possible at all or is the prompt just incorrect?

The prompt is based on FlashFXP sending the command
RNFR /APPS/_v/FULLofFILES

If the server replies with a successful reply then FlashFXP is lead to believe that the folder may already exist and displays a prompt.

(This command is sent without being displayed in the status window)

Do you know what FTP server software it is?

Re: Move to subdirectory is not possible

If you execute the raw command (Ctrl+R) using the following command

RNFR /<a valid path>/<some folder that doesn't exist>

i.e. RNFR /APPS/_v/mybogusfolder
where /APPS/_v/ is valid and mybogusfolder is not

What is the reply in the status window?

Re: Move to subdirectory is not possible

I found an issue with the move operation, though I must admit it took me quite awhile to find it and I think this is the problem you might of experienced, please try the latest beta and see if the issue you experienced is now resolved.
